How to make sharp photographs. This is the most common question Len gets asked. Well here we are going to spend a day on it. Some practical, some theory and some experimentation so that by the end of the day you will have a much better idea of how to take sharp photographs.
We will look at how to keep the camera still, and will revise our hand holding techniques and examine our shutter speeds to ensure sharp images. Then we will look at using a tripod.
From there we will then look at diffraction, and how that effects your choice of f stop. We will cover choosing sharp lenses.
We will also look at sharpness as a result of printing, print size and print mediums.
We will examine the illusion of sharpness.
This day workshop is for the enthusiast or professional who wants to milk every ounce of sharpness into their prints.
