This is the home of Lens School, the photography school based in The Blue Mountains Australia. The Principal of the School is Len Metcalf with over 20 years professional education experience (including his Masters Degree in Adult Education and a Graduate Diploma in Art Education), and 30 years photography experience including a Bachelor of Arts (visual arts – photography major).
Len specialises in teaching all aspects of photography, including: large format, panoramas, digital fine art printing, digital black and white, digital SLR’s, point & shoot cameras, and camera phones.
Len offers individual photographic tuition. He works with you on a one to one basis, so you get the training you want when you need it.
Len has extensive in depth knowledge of the Blue Mountains gained through many years of exploring with his camera. He takes you beyond the usual tourist locations to capture that memorable image of your visit. Photographic tours are designed to your individual needs. Perhaps you would like to take your camera into the mysterious world of the Blue Mountains canyons, or deep into the stunning wilderness areas of Australia. Len can take you down the tracks less traveled.
Len offers a mentoring program for photographers and visual artists. Regular sessions with Len will help you grow and develop as a visual artist and develop your technique.
Len is available as management coach. He can coach you in leadership, management and education. With over 20 professional years experience in facilitating managers and running corporate training programs with many of Australia’s leading blue chip companies. Combine this with extensive higher degree level training in Adult Education and you will be hard pressed to find someone as competent and able to help you as Len Metcalf.
